The maintenance of mining transformers mainly includes the following aspects:

1. Regular inspection: The mining transformer should be inspected regularly, including appearance inspection, electrical performance test and insulation resistance measurement. The appearance inspection is mainly to observe whether the transformer has damage, deformation or corrosion, the electrical performance test is mainly to check whether the output voltage and current of the transformer are stable, and the insulation resistance measurement is to check whether the insulation performance of the transformer is normal.

2. Cleaning and maintenance: The mining transformer should be kept clean to avoid the accumulation of dust and dirt affecting its heat dissipation effect. You can use a soft cloth or vacuum cleaner to clean, but avoid using water or other liquids to clean, so as not to damage the insulation performance of the transformer.

3. Heat dissipation system maintenance: the heat dissipation system of the mining transformer is an important part of ensuring its normal operation. The working status of the heat dissipation fan should be checked regularly, and the dust on the radiator should be cleaned to ensure the normal operation of the heat dissipation system.

4. Oil level check: For oil-immersed mining transformers, the oil level should be checked regularly to ensure that the oil level is within the specified range. If the oil level is too low, it may cause the transformer to overheat; If the oil level is too high, the operation safety of the transformer may be affected.

5. Insulation oil replacement: The insulating oil of the mining transformer is an important substance to ensure its insulation performance, and it should be replaced regularly. It is generally recommended to replace the insulating oil every two years, or to determine the replacement time according to the performance and use of the insulating oil.

6. Troubleshooting: During the use of the mining transformer, if there is a fault, it should be stopped and repaired in time to avoid the expansion of the fault. For some common faults, such as short circuit, overload, overheating, etc., there should be certain emergency treatment measures.

7. Records and reports: the maintenance work of mining transformers should be recorded in detail, including the time, content and results of each maintenance. At the same time, the operation and maintenance of the transformer should be regularly reported to the superior department in order to discover and solve the problem in time.
