2 Improve the winding thermal conductivity and heat resistance and electrical strength
Before the transformer coil is not impregnated, there are microholes inside the various insulating materials in the insulation structure, and there are air gaps between the groups and insulation parts. These microholes and air gaps are filled with air, and the air is a poor heat conductor, affecting the heat dissipation of the transformer. If the transformer is impregnated and the insulating paint fills the micropores and capillaries of the various insulating materials, as well as all the air gaps, the thermal conductivity will be greatly improved, because the thermal conductivity of the insulating paint is 5 times that of the air. The temperature rise of the ordinary lacquered motor can be reduced by 10K compared with that of the unlacquered motor, and the temperature rise of the vacuum lacquered motor is reduced by 5K compared with that of the ordinary lacquered motor.
3 Improve insulation strength

Transformers are usually operated in an environment with moisture, alkali, salt and other harmful gases, resulting in accelerated deterioration of insulation performance and even insulation breakdown. The degree to which transformer windings are impregnated can slow down the erosion rate of the external environment.
